Raising Pledges & Winning Prizes
The pledges you collect will make a difference, and will qualify you for our prizes! Funds raised at the Hike n’ Bike Trek will help Loon Echo protect and conserve land in the northern Sebago Lake region of Maine.
Think about the fresh air, the colorful fall foliage, the deep forests, the sparkling lakes – whatever it is that you love about the Maine outdoors, Loon Echo Land Trust is working to conserve and protect.
How to raise $$: We want our pledge process to be easy for you and for the people you ask to support your ride, so we have developed two methods – you can use one or both:
- ONLINE: You can go to the Active fundraising page to get started. From here, you can send an e-mail to your friends and family so they can easily support you with a credit card. (If you registered on-line through Active, a fundraising page has been created for you. Click here to access your donation page using the name and password assigned to you when you registered).
-OR-
- PAPER: You can collect pledges using the pledge form and instructions (download here).
All donations are tax deductible.
When are Pledges Due? Pledges are due on Trek day at check-in to qualify for the prize pool. Pledges are welcomed anytime after, but sorry, prizes will be gone by then.
Prizes: $100 in pledges gets you “loon tail feathers” and $200 gets you a “loon head” for your helmet or hat, handmade by the “loony girls”!
The top two individual and team pledge raisers will get to choose from the following top prizes:
