Location: Shawnee Peak Ski Area, Bridgton, MaineTrekking in Fryeburg

Trek Options:
Hike Trek:
-6 mile hike- along Pleasant Mountain’s ridge
(check-in and departure from 8 - 10 AM)

- 25 mile - departs at 10 AM (check-in from 8 - 10 AM)
- 50 mile - departs at 10 AM (check-in from 8 - 10 AM)
- 100 mile (century)- departs at 8 AM (check-in from 7

Why Participate?:
-Loon Echo protects 3,330 acres of land including mountains, fields, and forests for recreation and resource protection.
-Most beautiful bike trek in Maine, passing by farm fields, lakes, rolling hills and mountain passes.Trekkers on summit of Pleasant Mtn
-Known as the “toughest century ride in Maine” with 1,200 foot vertical descent in the White Mountain National Forest.
-Hike route passes over Pleasant Mountain, southern Maine’s tallest mountain, protected and by Loon Echo.

Pledges & Prizes:       
-Be a “loony” trekker! You can wear loon “tail feathers” ($100 in pledges) and or a “loon head” ($200 raised) on your helmet or hat, handmade by the “loony girls”!
